Lush Halloween Haul 2023
This time of year is the best for long soaks in the bath. On a chilly autumn morning or a dark autumn night, I love nothing more than getting cosy in the bath with a scented candle on the side and doing my skincare routine. Especially with the Lush Halloween range. Lush never disappoints with their Halloween (and Christmas) products, and every year I look forward to buying all the new bath bombs and indulging in some old favourites, too.
Here’s everything I got in my Lush Halloween haul this year!
Lord of Misrule Shower Gel
It’s not Halloween without Lord of Misrule. The second I get a whiff of the classic spicy scent, I’m in full autumn mode. I’d been looking forward to stocking up on the shower gel for weeks. I went for the 290g-sized bottle, but I kind of wish I had taken the plunge and bought the 1kg bottle instead. Honestly, I’ll probably end up going back and getting the biggest one. I just can’t get enough!

Ghost in the Dark Soap
The Ghost in the Dark soap is another favourite that I repurchase every year. Firstly, it’s super cute, and yes, it really does glow in the dark. And secondly, it smells amazing! Just having it out on the sink makes the whole bathroom smell sweet, fresh and citrusy. You can bet it’ll be straight back in my basket next year, too.

Magic Potion Bath Bomb
The Magic Potion bath bomb was new for this year and one that went into my basket immediately. It’s so pretty and looks like it turns your bath into a purple/pink/blue swirl of colours. It has quite a fruity scent, too, and I think it may be the first bath bomb from the collection I use.

Lord of Misrule Body Spray
A couple of years ago, I got the Lord of Misrule perfume, which was incredible! Being able to smell like the spooky classic all day, every day made me very happy. I ran out of the perfume this year and decided to get the new body spray instead as it was the same price for 200ml instead of 30ml (although I know the perfume lasts longer). Plus, I believe it’s available all year round, so I’ll be purchasing that again during the spring when I’m missing Halloween.

Screaming Banshee Bath Bomb
Screaming Banshee is another new bath bomb for this year that looked like a lot of fun. It seems quite similar to last year’s Big Foot bath bomb to me. I believe it produces a blue/purple colour in the bath, and it has a deliciously sweet scent that I’m excited to soak in.

Bat Art Bath Bomb
I LOVE this bath bomb. I’m seriously obsessed with it. Bat Art is easily one of my favourites they bring out each year. It’s gloriously glittery and turns the bath into the most amazing, deep purple colour. I get out looking very sparkly. It’s perfect for a cold autumn evening, and I hope they keep bringing it back every year!

Lord of Misrule Soap
Told you I was obsessed with the Lord of Misrule scent. I want every part of me to smell like it – including my hands. I threw this in my basket right away and couldn’t wait to put it in my sink’s soap dish. Is it sad to say it’s the highlight of my mornings now? Waking up, washing my hands and taking in the sweet and spicy scent. It also looks super pretty and spooky too.

Ghostie Bath Bomb
I really enjoyed the Ghostie bath bomb last year, and the year before, so I got it again. It’s an adorable-looking bath bomb that matches the look of the Ghost in the Dark soap and turns your bath into a pink and purple mix of colours. It also has a lovely fruity scent, and it’s a pretty chunky bath bomb, too.

Punkin Pumpkin Bath Bomb
I use the Punkin Pumpkin bath bomb on Halloween every year, and this year will be no exception! Of course, it turns your bath into a bright orange colour and has a strong citrus/cinnamon scent to it, which I think is just perfect for this time of year. I absolutely love it and will no doubt end up using it before Halloween and getting another.

Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb
Lastly, I got the Lord of Misrule bath bomb, and I’m relieved they kept to a similar design as last year, with the added bonus of pink. Does anyone remember the disastrous redesign in 2021? It was truly awful. With its iconic dark and spicy scent and vibrant coloured bathwater, I think I need about five more of these!

That was everything I got in my Lush Halloween haul. However, I will need to go back as I totally missed they had the Screamo bath bomb this year too, which I LOVED last year. Also, the Demon in the Dark soap is calling my name. I just can’t resist all the spookiness.
